The Athan application — including its concept and idea, design, interface, code, artwork, names, and content — is the exclusive property of the Beckah Foundation. No person or entity may copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, reuse, recreate, reverse-engineer, or build upon this work or its idea, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, without the prior written permission of the Directors of the Beckah Foundation.
This is more than a matter of law — it is a trust (amānah).
We hold, by our faith, that to take, copy, or imitate this work without right is a wrong before Allah ﷻ. Every soul will stand before Him — Aḥkam al-Ḥākimīn, the Judge of all judges, from whom nothing is hidden — and will answer for what its hands have taken. "And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly" (Qur'an 2:188). Let no one take what is not lawfully theirs.
Beyond that accounting, the Foundation will protect this work to the fullest extent permitted by law. Violators may face civil and other legal action.
